Underground Contractors is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Wixom, MI
Underground Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in our Wixom, MI office. The Field Service Technician will travel around to job sites and service our company vehicles and construction equipment. This is a full-time position. Must have your own tools and able to service gas and diesel trucks and do minor repairs. The majority of the position will be doing oil changes and DOT inspections on company vehicles. The right candidate will have experience servicing construction equipment. You will drive throughout Michigan to service vehicles and equipment at different job sites, but overnight travel is a rarity.
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience doing hands-on vehicle and construction equipment service and repair.
Mechanics must provide their own tools and are required to have a valid driver license with an excellent driving history, a CDL is a plus, but not mandatory. Candidates are subject to pre-placement drug screening and criminal background check.
